DELIVERY POLICY — MEDICI BOOKS
This Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders placed with Medici Books.
1. ORDER PROCESSING TIME
• SAME-DAY PROCESSING: Orders completed and paid for before 12:00PM GMT are usually processed and dispatched on the same working day.
• NEXT-DAY PROCESSING: Orders placed after 12:00PM GMT will normally be processed and dispatched on the next working day.
• OPERATING DAYS: Orders are not processed or dispatched on weekends or UK public holidays.
• PEAK PERIODS: During busy periods, seasonal demand, or special releases, processing times may take up to 2 working days.
2. DELIVERY RATES & TIMES
We ship exclusively to the secure destinations listed below using reliable, tracked postal networks.
• UNITED KINGDOM (MAINLAND): FREE Standard Delivery on all orders over £5.00 (£5.00 flat rate for orders under £5.00). Delivery takes 2–3 working days via Royal Mail Standard.
• IRELAND (REPUBLIC OF IRELAND): FREE flat rate delivery. Delivery takes 3–7 working days via Royal Mail International / An Post.
• UNITED STATES: Flat rate delivery of $16.15 USD. Delivery takes 8 working days via Royal Mail International / USPS.
• CANADA: Flat rate delivery of £13.00 GBP. Delivery takes 8 working days via Royal Mail International / Canada Post.
• EUROPE (GREEN ZONE): Flat rate delivery of £10.50 GBP. Delivery takes 7 working days via Royal Mail International / Local Post.
• AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND: Flat rate delivery of £24.00 GBP. Delivery takes 8 working days via Royal Mail International / Australia Post / NZ Post.
EUROPEAN GREEN ZONE INCLUDES: Åland Islands, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Svalbard & Jan Mayen, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine.
3. CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES
• FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION (EU) & IRELAND: For orders shipped under €150, local Value Added Tax (VAT) is collected directly at checkout. Because VAT is paid via our IOSS registration, your package will pass smoothly through customs and you will not face hidden customs handling fees upon delivery. Orders exceeding €150 will have VAT/duties collected at the border by your local authority.
• FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (US, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, NZ): Customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees required by their destination country.
• CUSTOMS DELAYS: Medici Books is not responsible for minor delivery delays caused by local customs processing or customs clearance procedures.
4. ORDER TRACKING
• TRACKING CODES: Full international tracking information will be sent to you via email automatically as soon as your package has been dispatched.
• MONITORING: You can track your package directly through your shipping confirmation link from the UK border until it reaches your doorstep.
5. DELIVERY ISSUES
• CARRIER DELAYS: If your order is delayed, lost in transit, or marked as delivered but not received, please contact us at medicibooks.mail@gmail.com and we will open a formal investigation with the courier to assist you.
6. INCORRECT ADDRESS INFORMATION
• BUYER ACCURACY: Customers are fully responsible for ensuring that delivery details are accurate and complete at checkout. We cannot accept financial responsibility for orders delivered to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
7. DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS
• REPORTING WINDOW: If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 DAYS of delivery.
• PROOF REQUIRED: Please include clear photographs of both the exterior packaging and the damaged book alongside your order number. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund in line with your local consumer rights.
