• PRICE ADJUSTMENTS: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Payment is required in full at the exact time of purchase.
• SECURE PROCESSING: We utilize secure, encrypted third-party payment gateways, including Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Stripe. Medici Books never stores, accesses, or hosts your full payment card details.


4. ORDER CANCELLATIONS & LIMITS

• ORDER RESTRICTIONS: We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order placed with us. This includes limiting quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.
• FRAUD PROTECTION: These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use identical billing and/or shipping addresses. We reserve the right to cancel orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors, or are flagged as suspected fraud by our automated security systems.
• CANCELLATION REFUNDS: If an order is cancelled by us after payment has been successfully captured, a 100% full refund will be issued automatically to the original payment method.


5. SHIPPING, DELIVERY & INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS

• ESTIMATED WINDOWS: Delivery times and transit frames are estimates only. Medici Books is not legally or financially liable for shipping delays caused by postal networks, local customs clearance processing, severe weather events, or other disruptions beyond our reasonable control.
• IMPORT DUTIES & EU IOSS VAT: Customers outside the UK are fully responsible for local customs duties, import taxes, or local clearance fees. For European Union and Ireland orders under €150, local VAT is collected directly at checkout via our Shopify IOSS registration to ensure smooth delivery. 6. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CONSUMER RIGHTS

• STANDARD RETURNS: We offer a 30-day return window. UK buyers receive free return shipping via our official InPost Locker return service. Customers outside the UK are responsible for return shipping costs as detailed in our Refund & Return Policy.
• STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: Buyers located in Ireland and the European Union retain a legal, statutory right to cancel and withdraw from their contract for any reason within 14 days of physical package delivery.
• FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS: For items that arrive faulty, damaged, or misdescribed, Medici Books will cover all return shipping costs and provide a full replacement, exchange, or complete refund.
• DEDUCTIONS: Items must be returned in a clean, resaleable condition. Excessive handling that visibly reduces the book's retail value may result in a partial deduction from your final refund.
